I always love scouring through other people’s Amazon purchases. I hesitate to admit it, but I often get lost in reviews and when I find one that is really helpful, I click on that user and stalk their whole lives. I even draw conclusions about their families when they include a lot of detail….and occasionally I find someone I think may really want to be my friend. I digress.
Now, truth be told, I am more of a passive consumer on Amazon, and I am one of those who don’t really leave a ton of reviews Since I don’t have a long list of reviewed purchases to share, I have complied some of my most favorite recent finds here.
Gallon Water Bottle- Face it…It is hard to drink water throughout the day. Those who know me, know that this is one of my biggest struggles. There is nothing that helped as much as this HUGE gallon size jug with time stamps to help keep you on track. The little motivating reminders are a bonus. There are a few styles but I really like this one because it is much easier to clean on the inside!
Nourish Food Scale- Ever find yourself saying “I just want someone to do it FOR me”? That is basically this scale. It is sleek and easy to use and it comes with this booklet of codes that even include some name brand foods, and all of the nutrition information is programmed into the scale already! Do not purchase if accountability is not your thing.
Meat Masher- Alright, truth be told, I was originally inspired to purchase this by another blogger, but I included it here because it is one of the most underrated kitchen utensils and basically, everyone should have one. I know this because my best friend, who does not cook much, purchased this $5 miracle tool and praises it regularly. She is joined by my mother, my neighbors, family and co-workers! Who knew how annoying uneven chunks of meat can be?!
Glass Storage Containers- K, plastic is gross and really hard to keep clean. Switch to glass. It’s time.
Grease Container- When I was a kid, I collected rocks. As an adult, I collect bacon grease. This container stores up to 5 cups of grease! It has a strainer that you pour all the pan drippings through and all of the protein is separated from the fat. The grease is then able to be stored and used for future delicious creations.
